I've always enjoyed Rogue's character, especially in Evolution. I felt like she had more of personality than Jean, Storm, or any of the New Recruit girls, especially since they hardly got any screentime. Kitty's valley-girlness I found to be vaguely irritating at times, but I do like her in a few of the episodes. (Xtreme Measures for instance ) But there's something about Rogue's persona that I think just makes her easier to understand as a character. *Shrugs* Could be just me, though.
Oh yeah, and Wolverine and Gambit are top contenders on my list. Wolverine for his charming personality and Gambit for the aforementioned reasons.
