An
interview on: Kitty Pryde
Xander: Good Morning! My name is Xander Lane and
today on Channel 1 - The Outside World, we’ll be talking with a young
freshman, Katherine Pryde. But always, the weather. *smiles*
Weather: It’s getting cooler. Warm and breezy.
Sunny. Very sunny.
Xander: Yeah, it’s getting nicer. Here’s our
guest, Katherine Pryde.
*audience cheers*
Kitty: Like, this is so cool, you know?
Xander: Yes, I do know. How are Katherine?
Kitty: I’m like, really excited right now. Call
me Kitty.
Xander: Tell us a little about yourself, Kitty.
Kitty: Like, I go to Bayville High, I like
totally had to persuade the Prof to let me come on this morning. He knows I
love being in the spotlight, and totally was freaked out when you called me.
Xander: Well, I’m glad you made it.
Kitty: Me too! *smiles at camera*
Xander: You heard about the, uh, last few shows?
Kitty: That’s like, the reason Professor was
freaking when you called.
Xander: Okay. I know you live at the Institute.
How is it there?
Kitty: It’s really cool. I love hanging around
my family a lot, you know.
Xander: Nothing every freaks you out?
Kitty: Well, like, sometimes Mr. Logan can
really freak me out, you know.
Xander: Mr. Logan? I have him scheduled next
week to pay us a visit. Tell me, how does he exactly freak you out? *gets
pencil ready to jot down notes*
Kitty: I don’t know. I guess his, like,
attitude and stuff. *twirls hair around index finger*
Xander: But what about him scares you? Do the
other kids scare you to?
Kitty: Sometimes, but I really don’t want to
talk about it.
Xander: Come one Kitty. You can talk to me.
Kitty: Maybe. But I won’t when that thing is
on. *points to camera*
Xander: Oh. Well, what other kids scare you?
Kitty: I like said I didn’t want to talk about
it!
Xander: Water for Kitty. *waits till Kitty sips
the water*
Kitty: *sips water*
Xander: Feel better? *tries acting
sympathetically*
Kitty: Look, you aren’t going to get anything
from me.
Xander: *persists on, ignoring Kitty’s
complaint* So, we were saying, what exactly freaks you out?
Kitty: I so warned you! *runs to camera and
phases through it*
*camera short circuits*
...
*One Hour Later*
Xander: Are we on? Is it rolling? Yes? No! Fix
it!
Producer: It is rolling!
Xander: It is? Oops. So anyways, Kitty, how did
you do that?
Kitty: I phased through it. *smiling*
Xander: Really? Your hand just went through it
and suddenly the camera short circuited.
Kitty: I know.
Xander: Why?
Kitty: Because, I like told you I didn’t want
to talk about it.
Xander: Why not?
Kitty: You really have a problem, Xander. Maybe
you should talk to Jean, you know.
Xander: No! Heavens no.
Kitty: Why?
Xander: That’s besides the point. *rolls her
eyes*
Kitty: ...
Xander: You said, the people including Mr.
Logan, inside the institute freak you out. Would you please explain to us how.
Kitty: I don’t. They just get into these moods,
you know?
Xander: No I don’t know! That’s why I’m asking
you! *grits her teeth*
Kitty: Like, wow.
Xander: Sorry. *taps pencil on clipboard* Okay,
I’m going to ask you a random of questions, if you can’t, I mean, won’t answer
them, tell me, okay?
Kitty: Uh-huh.
Xander: How does Mr. Logan and the kids scare
you in the mansion?
Kitty: Irrelevant.
Xander: Uh-huh. How well do you get along with
the kids?
Kitty: They’re like my family.
Xander: And Mr. Logan?
Kitty: He’s like.. umm-
Xander: Scary?
Kitty: *glares* I don’t know. I like, wouldn’t
consider him a father, nor a big brother. He’s just someone really close to me.
Xander: Not scary?
Kitty: Like, not really.
Xander: But you said-
Kitty: Irrelevant.
Xander: Hmm.. Can you reveal the kids’ names who
live with you?
Kitty: Didn’t you like, try to ask Jean these
questions last week?
Xander: Well, I did. But she didn’t answer the
question. More of avoiding it. Now I’m asking you.
Kitty: Like, if Jean didn’t answer it, I’m not
either.
Xander: But why?
Kitty: It’s, like a free world, you know.
*crosses her arms. I don’t really have to answer any of these questions.
Xander: I’m aware of that. Okay, who is the
founder of the Institute?
Kitty: Professor Xavior, but I thought everyone
knew that.
Xander: It was just a question.
Kitty: Pretty lame one.
Xander: Katherine! Please! I’m going to ask two more
questions, okay?
Kitty: Sure.
Xander: Do you have any common enemies?
Kitty: What does that have to do with me or the
Institute?
Xander: Why are you avoiding the question?
Kitty: What makes you think I’m avoiding it?
Xander: Why are you answering each question with
another question?!!
Kitty: Why are you getting mad?
Xander: STOP!
Kitty: What?
Xander: Kitty, please just answer the question.
Kitty: Which one? We like, said whole bunch.
Xander: Do you have any common enemies?
Kitty: I guess, yeah. There are like, these
four guys that just never know when to quit.
Xander: Oh? *scribbles down a few notes* And who
are they?
Kitty: They’re like known as the Brotherhood of
Mutants.
Xander: Uh-huh. What’s their names?
Kitty: Irrelevant.
Xander: Fine! *breaks pencil*
Kitty: Are you mad?
Xander: Madly insane?!! I’m sure getting
there!!!
Kitty: Like, wow. Didn’t you have another
question?
Xander: Yes, *takes deep breaths and sips water*
now, I know there are three boys and three girls at this Institute.
Kitty: How?
Xander: Jean told me that much. Last question,
okay?
Kitty: Okay.
Xander: Who’s the closest one to you in the
group?
Kitty: Irrelevant. I can’t say any of their
names because, like, Jean said last week we all promised not to tell and that
would be breaking the promise, you know. If it’s like okay, with you, I’m going
home. Bye.
Xander: Fine, thanks for stopping by. *sobs* I’m
so quitting after I interview Logan next week. But until then *sighs* stay tuned.
*sobs*
Camera man: Annnnnnnnd cut!
