Much of Wanda's childhood was spent in a institution. Her own father (Magneto) placed her there because she could not control her powers. Charles Xavier tried to help Wanda, but Mystique took charge, helped her escape from the institute, and locked the Professor away. Wanda full of anger and hate for her father and brother wanted revenge. She stayed with the Brotherhood boys, trying to harness her power with the help of Agatha Harkness. Magneto knew Wanda would never stop her pursuit of getting revenge on him. So he brought Wanda to him, and used the mutant known as Mastermind to erase Wanda's memories of her past and replace them with better ones. Now Wanda does not want revenge anymore and she is living with the Brotherhood permanently.

Wanda's mutant ability allows her to Hex anything. These hexing powers allow her to effect the outcome of things in her favor, and turn against her victims. In case of mutants, their powers would be used against them, and they could not control it. With the help of Agatha Harkness, Wanda is being trained to use her anger and transfer it into her powers. Because of her unique gifts, Wanda is one of the most powerful mutants on Evolution.

Since Wanda joined the Brotherhood she has gained an admirer. Toad has seemed to fallen for Wanda, and tries desperately to gain her attention. Wanda turns him down every time, but in The Toad the Witch, and the Wardrobe, she seemed to start feeling sorry for him. Whether or not they will become something more is still to be determined.
